Description

Join us this Summer for one of our favourite family days where we’ll be heading over to the beautiful Beamish Museum where you and your family will be allocated a family ticket to gain access to the museum at your leisure and explore all it has to offer. Step into the past at Beamish, The Living Museum of the North. Beamish is a world-famous open-air museum which brings the history of North East England to life at its 1820s Pockerley, 1900s Town, 1900s Pit Village, 1940s Farm, 1950s Town and 1950s Spain’s Field Farm exhibit areas. Visitors to the museum meet costumed folk and discover fascinating stories of everyday life in the region through time. Families are asked to make your own way to and from the venue. Staff will meet families outside the main entrance of the venue on the day to hand out tickets, please be aware this is a ticketed event so we will be allocating a set of amount for your family. No food and drink is provided however there will be onsite cafes for families to purchase refreshments and food.
