We are so excited to announce that we have a Young Carers Caravan!!! South Tyneside Young Carers (TEN North East Limited) are offering families the opportunity to book a three-day break at Karen Caravan, located at Sandy Bay Holiday Park. This short stay is designed to give young carers and their families a chance to relax, recharge, and enjoy quality time together in a comfortable seaside setting. The caravan is suitable for a range of family needs and is accessible to support families with additional requirements wherever possible. It sleeps 8 people with 1 master bedroom, 2 bedrooms with single beds and a sofa bed in the living room. NO pets are permitted. Families are required to comply with all Sandy Bay Holiday Park rules and regulations throughout their stay, and the caravan must be left in a clean and tidy condition at the end of the booking. Any damage or issues must be reported promptly to the Young Carers team.
The caravan is available to rent at a set price, with different rates applied during peak and off-peak periods. The peak period runs from April to October. The off-peak period runs from November to March, during which some facilities on site of the park are limited or closed. When registering your interest via Reservio for a stay at the caravan, please note on how many people will be staying during your visit.
The required deposit is £75
Pricing is £275 during peak periods
Pricing is £200 during off-peak periods
All bookings are subject to availability and eligibility. Once your stay has been confirmed, a non-refundable deposit is required to secure the booking. The remaining balance must be paid in full prior to arrival. Bookings are only secure upon receipt of the deposit. Once your family has secured your stay, a booking form will be sent via email for the family to sign and returned to the young carers team.
