We are hosting a new workshop this year to help our older young carers for their future and to create a CV for future employment. The session will have all information on what is currently expected on a CV, there will be a section on good vs bad CV with examples. We will highlight why a section on identifying key skills, hobbies and interest and why they are important to be included and how to adapt a CV to specific jobs. After we have learnt the relevant information, we will have some time to create their own. All we ask is for our young carers to bring a laptop of they have one, however if not staff will be in attendance so they can use ours if needed. Transport is not included for the event however if you are trouble to get to the venue, please let us know and we advise you the best way to get there. Please note parents/guardians will be required to drop off and collect children from the venue.
