As a little welcome to South Tyneside Young Carers, we would love to invite your family to meet us at Cineworld Boldon to watch a newly released blockbuster movie this summer. Due to the nature of cinema movie releases, we don’t have confirmed start times for our movies just yet. We will confirm the actual activity start time around 1 week prior to the activity taking place when the cinemas release their timings. Please note this event is for families to enjoy together, when booking your spaces please make sure to tell us the number of adults and children in your family group so we are aware of the number of people we are expected if you get a space. This is a chance for the young carer to meet the whole team and to meet other young carers and families who are in a similar situation as yourself. There will be station for the young carer to have a chat with a member of the team and receive their Young Carer ID card as well. All we ask is for you to make your own way to and from the venue as transport is not provided. If you are struggling with transport, please let us know as we can advise about public transport, as we are a small team so we will try our best to accommodate. Young Carers staff will be there, however for the duration of the event parent/ guardians are responsible for their children. This event is for our new young carers and their families who have been registered with the service in the past 3 months.
