We are happy to announce we are hosting some beach school family session during the summer holidays. This is a chance for the whole family to come down to beach to have some fun in the sand. Our friends at South Shields Surf School will be hosting and helping us make some incredible memories down at the sea front, right on our door step. There will be a range of activities for everyone to get involved in where we will be getting creative and active. From building shelters and digging for treasure to crafting jewellery or going on scavenger hunts, there’s something for everyone. Please note this event is for families to enjoy together, when booking your spaces please make sure to tell us the number of adults and children in your family group so we are aware of the number of people we are expected if you get a space. This event is for families of registered young carers only. All we ask is for you to make your own way to and from the venue as transport is not provided. If you are struggling with transport, please let us know as we can advise about public transport, as we are a small team so we will try our best to accommodate. Young Carers staff will be there, however for the duration of the event parent/ guardians are responsible for their children. You are more than welcome to bring along a picnic or there are food venues there to grab yourself something to eat.
