Who loves animals, if so why not come along to the zoo just up the road?! Northumberland Zoo is a family-run, not-for-profit animal collection in the heart of Northumberland. The zoo currently has 20 acres for visitors to explore with a wide range of animals to see from tiny Harvest mice to fluffy snow leopards. Please note this event is for families to enjoy together, when booking your spaces please make sure to tell us the number of adults and children in your family group so we are aware of the number of people we are expected if you get a space. This event is for families of registered young carers only. All we ask is for you to make your own way to and from the venue as transport is not provided. If you are struggling with transport, please let us know as we can advise about public transport, as we are a small team so we will try our best to accommodate. Young Carers staff will be there, however for the duration of the event parent/ guardians are responsible for their children. You are more than welcome to bring along a picnic or there are food venues there to grab yourself something to eat.
